Who says Thanksgiving can't be an entire month? Celebrate Friendsgiving with United Way on Saturday, November 8th!
What is Friendsgiving? This trend began as a way to gather close friends, chosen family, who weren't able to gather with their loved ones for the holiday. We're bringing people together in an act of community, care for our neighbors, and celebration of generosity in the middle of our 2026 campaign.
Let's come together and build a foundation of community, celebrating all that we have to be grateful for as we head into the holiday season. There is something for everyone at this event!

Event Details
When: Saturday, November 8, 2025
Doors open at 5pm
Dinner served at 6pm
Raffle drawing at 7pm
Silent Auction closes at 7:30pm
Where: Buffalo County Fairgrounds Exhibit building
Cost: $25/person or $160 for a table of 8 people

Other ways to give
You can fully participate in the Friendsgiving spirit by purchasing an extra ticket for someone to attend who could not otherwise afford it by making a donation along with your ticket purchase. Free tickets will be distributed through our partner agencies as they are available. Any unused tickets/extra funds will be redirected toward the United Against Hunger fund.
Food donations will be collected for Jubilee Center and Community Action Partnership. For every bag of non-perishable food or hygiene items donated, you will receive a ticket for a drawing for a special prize basket!

Be a Friendsgiving Sponsor!
Give the spirit of friendship
For $25, you can provide a free meal to someone in need. Tickets will be distributed through our partners to give to their clients. Any unused tickets or funds will be redirected to the United Against Hunger fund which provides a box of meals to families in Buffalo County.
Build partnership support
For $100, you will help provide free tickets to our nonprofit partner agency staff so that they can attend the event for free. This builds community amongst the nonprofit sector and enhances our services to them.
You will be recognized as a sponsor on our website, a joint post on social media and on sponsorship posters at the event.
Foster community
For $250, you will be recognized as a table sponsor, with your name and logo on a table at the event. This sponsorship helps to foster community and enhances relationships around a shared meal.
You will receive two free tickets to attend the event!
In addition to recognition at a table, you will also receive recognition on event posters, on the website, and social media.
Bring the entertainment
For $500, you will be celebrated by everyone, from children playing on bounce houses to adults cheering on their favorite football team! Your support helps us provide entertainment during the event, including football, bounce houses, a flower bar, pumpkin decorating and more!
You will receive four free tickets to attend the event!
In addition to recognition around the venue where everyone is being entertained, you will also receive special recognition on event posters, on the website, and social media.
Give the spirit of friendship
For $1,000, you will be recognized as a presenting sponsor, with your name and logo throughout the venue and recognized regularly with the event. This sponsorship builds the foundation of community so that everyone can practice generosity and friendship within the wonderful evening.
You will receive eight free tickets (one table) to attend the event!
In addition to recognition at the event, you will be individually listed on our website, social media and on event posters as a presenting sponsor.
