OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS 

As established by the United Way of the Kearney Area, herein
referred to as “United Way,” the following rules and regulations are hereby adopted to benefit the following 501 (c) (3) organization:
United Way of the Kearney Area, TAX ID #47-0488294.

1.The entry portion of each raffle ticket must be filled out completely, delivered and received with the appropriate fee to the United Way office no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, or filled out completely, delivered and received at the draw site on Saturday, November 8, 2025, by 6:30 p.m. depending on availability.

2. Raffle tickets will be drawn at approximately 7:00pm, Saturday, November 8, 2025.

3. Once the raffling drawing starts, there will be no attempt to interfere with any tickets while the drawing is in progress.

4. The person’s names who appear on the entry ticket corresponding to the drawn tickets in order from 1 through 9, at the raffle location, will be awarded the raffle prizes.

5. The winners drawn will be announced immediately following the drawing at that site. Winners need not be present to win. If the winner does not claim his/her prize within 90 days after that date, the prize is forfeited and will be turned over to the United Way of the Kearney Area. Any winner of a raffle prize will be responsible for any and all applicable taxes. The winner is responsible to pickup their prize. United Way will not be responsible for delivery of prizes.

6. The first paper ticket to be drawn will be the Grand Prize winner.

7. The person’s name that appears on the entry tickets corresponding to the tickets drawn will be awarded the prizes.

8. The winner of the prizes must provide all necessary Federal and State tax reporting information before receiving the prize. All the local, state, and federal taxes, fees and licenses are the winner’s responsibility.

9. No cash equivalent prizes will be provided in lieu of designated prizes by United Way.

10.The following people are not eligible: Staff members of United Way of the Kearney Area and/or spouses, United Way of the Kearney Area Board of Directors and/or spouses.

11. Chances of winning depends on the total number of qualified entries purchased.

12.This event is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

13. The conduct of the drawing and determination of winners will be the responsibility of the United Way. United Way will make all decisions and interpretations of these rules and its decisions will be final. A list of prizes can be obtained from United Way by sending a written request and self-addressed, stamped return envelope to: United Way of the Kearney Area, 4009 6th Ave Ste. 19 Kearney, NE 68845. United Way of the Kearney Area Raffle Ticket purchases are not tax deductible.
