Building positive relationships and preventing social isolation for individuals 60 years and older, the Minden Senior Center is a resource that improves the lives of senior citizens throughout the Kearney county area. The Center provides daily meals, puzzles, quilting, fun games, musical entertainment, exercise equipment, hearing and foot clinics, education programs, transportation, referral services, and so much more! In 2019, the Center served over 8,103 meals and provided services to 130 unduplicated senior citizens. It is an invaluable source of senior care for social independence, education, and health.
