Mission: Adult Education (AE) provides instruction to students who are 16 years or older and have either officially withdrawn from a Nebraska school or have completed home-schooling.

Adult Education provides the resources and skills for adults in our community to reach their educational goals. AE includes classes with paid instructors, one-on-one tutoring by volunteers when available and classes with one or more volunteers. The program provides the services of Adult Basic Education, English as a Second Language (ESL), and GED (General Educational Development) instruction. Kearney's Adult Basic Education program held at Central Community College, assisted over 180 individuals either earn their GED or learn English as a second language.
