Toys for Tots

Each year United Way of the Kearney Area collaborates with the Marine Corps Reserve to bring area children some joy for the Holidays! Nearly 100 children receive Christmas gifts every year.
Applications for Toys for Tots are taken from November 1 through December 7th.
Please visit the United Way office to register.
Requirements:

• Applicants picture ID and Social Security Card.
• A recent postmarked piece of mail for address verification.
• Social Security Cards for each child.

We partnered up with the Salvation Army and Goodfellows in Kearney for registration and distribution of the gifts. Our registrations get folded in with Salvation Army to avoid duplications. The Buffalo County registrations are then turned over to the Goodfellows who then deliver presents to those families on Christmas morning.
For families outside of Buffalo County, the United Way will work with them on an individual basis to get them their gifts before Christmas.
