| 2010-01-25 - Volunteer Solutions Growing By Leaps and Bounds |
United Way of the Kearney Area is pleased to announce that Volunteer Solutions is growing by leaps and bounds. Currently, there are 27 registered volunteers, 17 registered agencies, and 15 volunteer opportunities available.
Not familiar with Volunteer Solutions?
Volunteer Solutions is a valuable online tool that benefits volunteers as well as community agencies. Volunteers who want to make an impact in their community by donating a little of their time and skills can search through a listing of volunteer opportunities from community agencies. Once registered, one click will put them in contact with the agencies that they are interested in helping.
Community agencies can receive the help they need and educate people in their community about their services, goals, and needs by registering activities and upcoming events that they need volunteers to help with.
