Administration

United Way of the Kearney Area is a volunteer-based non-profit organization that raises and distributes funds to 24 agencies funding nearly 100 programs in six counties of Nebraska: Buffalo, Custer, Franklin, Harlan, Kearney and Phelps.

The main goal of the United Way of the Kearney Area is to care for people.  What drives us toward our goal is the help and support that we receive from you.  You have every right to know what we do, and what we’re doing with the money and support that you provide.  Listed below are the service categories that your donations fund:

·        People with emergency needs,

·        Alcohol, tobacco and other drug services,

·        Domestic and child abuse services,

·        Shelter and housing services, and

·        Family support.

Thank you for your generous support of these programs.  Together, we will make our caring count in our community.
